About DLT Trading
DLT Trading was started in the late 90s as a purveyor of high quality and hard-to-find knife brands delivered to customers around the world by utilizing ecommerce. Then near the forefront of this sales channel, we have experienced exponential growth as we have grown organically as well as through acquisitions, such as our purchase of Oregon Knife Shop and its internet sales business. With this acquisition, we have positioned ourselves among the worldwide leaders in custom engraved knives for both the retail and corporate market segments.
Our mission is to provide the best-in-class service and selection of a wide variety of knives and tools delivered lightning fast at competitive prices.
During our history, we've outgrown a couple of locations and since 2012 we've been headquartered in Marinette, Wisconsin. This facility houses our ecommerce operations, warehouse and a retail storefront.

Passionate about knives and the outdoors, I feel lucky to have the job I have. On a daily basis I get to talk to folks around the world that have interests similar to mine. Though I have to admit the hours are long, I really don’t feel I have to “work”. We have an amazing custom base of loyal customers that I consider to be friends more than customers.
In my spare time, I love to spend time outside. Whether it’s on my family’s farm working cattle, hunting for whitetail deer, or just out camping with my family I have a real love of the outdoors and the high quality gear that goes hand-in-hand with it. In my spare time I also love to cook so my profession allows me to have some really great kitchen cutlery as a bonus.

I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to work with my significant other, doing a job that we both enjoy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, camping, and all things sports.

I have been passionate about knives since I got my first hunting knife from my Dad at 10 years old (Thanks a lot Dad!!!). I am an avid fisherman and hunter and I absolutely love going on hikes with my wife and our pups. I have been into bushcrafting for a few years and I am an absolute steel nerd. I love cooking and discovering new recipes as well so my cutlery taste is fairly widespread. I love getting to interact with our customers on a daily basis and help them in finding the best knife for their needs.

Since 2022, I have been managing the media department at DLT Trading. From images on the website, to the videos on our DLT Trading YouTube channel, I shoot, edit, and export content of our products. Working at DLT Trading has given me the opportinity to pursue my passion of both video and photo, in additon, I have started a knife collection of my own.

As a lifelong fan of cutlery it's been an amazing opportunity to come to work at DLT Trading. Besides getting to spend much of my time with some of the best sharp things on the market, I also have ample opportunity to interact with great customers who are as excited and passionate about knives as I am. Most of my day is in customer service and I greatly enjoy getting to problem solve and assist people in choosing their next knife.
In my free time my hobbies include cooking, disc golf, watching the NFL, and anything related to Star Wars.

Having held the position of official greeter and executive director of doggy kisses, I must say I really enjoy “working” here at DLT Trading. Over the years I have trained all the delivery folks to bring me treats during their stops and I even have a good number of our retail store customers bring me treats now! If you stop in and visit us I’ll likely grab one of my stuffed animal toys and greet you at the door to say hi. The pay here isn’t great but I do get regular bonuses (ok, technically they’re belly rubs). My phone skills are pretty limited so I don’t do a ton of work on our ecommerce side but I’m the most popular storefront employee we have. You may even hear me bark in the background now and then if you call in at just the right time as a good part of my day is spent relaxing.
